I'm only less than 1/3 into the book but I do like the history of Lucy and Desi. I've always been a Lucy fan. I didn't rate it 5 stars because I get lost in some of the history...maybe it's just me but seems like it jumps around a little but I'm still enjoying it.

Main character had promise but fell flat in terms of having any depth. Plot is well worn and while rather accurate, it's been done. There are better "Irish girls coming to America" books out there I'm sure, that delve a bit more into character and history etc etc. It's an easy read for a weekend but not one I would recommend for say a book club or reading circle. I read it for free thanks to my Kindle Unlimited subscription and probably would not pay for it.

As a published author I rate this book as my bible and would highly recommend it to all who seek perfection. Don't just take my word for it read it and judge for yourself.
