Aromatherapy Bath Bags

I love a long hot bath in the winter time. It is, for me, the equivalent of a cool swimming pool on a long, hot summer day. But, I must have something stimulating my senses and depending on my mood I tend to use goodies from the garden. Sometimes I just prefer moon water but most of the time I grab a blend to relax, energize, or alleviate tension and soreness.
Looking back through my aroma therapy posts here on Medicinal Nature or visiting Health and Well Being Etc. Magazine
you can plainly see which plants and oils have which effect on the body and its senses. In the fall during harvest time get a large durable plastic freezer bag and label it according to your feelings. Example: stressed, tired, restless, etc. then place all the goodies from the garden in the dehydrator to get the most of the dampness out of them. Stick them in your mortar and pestle then mix together and place in the bags.
This way you simply reach for a bag, take out a handful and sprinkle in your bathwater. Add a little milk and essential oils for added softness and natural fragrance to your body that lasts all day long.
