Medicinal Nature - Manda Spring

Planting a Medicinal Garden: Burdock

June 10th 2008 23:29
In Russia and India Burdock is widely used for its cancer curing properties. Although tests indicate this is a powerful plant in helping with certain cancers it is more commonly used as a laxative, diuretic and to purify the blood. It helps the proper function of the liver and kidneys as well as being a powerful fighter against various tumors and cysts.

Some family and friends suffer from internal cysts and polyps as well and cysts under the skin. This is why I plant burdock for both the tea made from the root and for skin cleansers and lotions to assist with getting rid of lumps under the flesh.
