Planting a Medicinal Garden: Calendula
June 17th 2008 23:31
Not only is Calendula a super plant to use when making ointments to rapidly heal and guard against bacteria and germs for cuts, scrapes and puncture wounds but it has other fantastic uses as well besides just being another pretty and flowered plant.
Just look at the things Calendula can do for the body:
• Induces sweating during sickness (colds/flu/etc.),
• promotes menstruation
• increases urination
• indigestion and stomachaches
• relieves stomach cramps
