Below is another list I have comprised to help you, the reader, get a little more understanding for these popular Chinese herbs and what they do as far as treating illnesses and common health problems.
Ban Lan Gen (Isatis root)
This treats mumps, jaundice, sore throat, and acts as a liver antiviral.
Ban Xia (Pinellia)
This is most commonly used to reduce nausea and disolving phlegm.
Bei Mu Zhe (Thunberg fritillaria bulb)
This has been known for its properties for clearing up acute phlegmy cough and swelling as well as nodules in the lungs, breasts and neck areas.
Bian Xu (Polygonum aviculare)
Known for killing parasites, helping with itch relief, and ridding painful urination.
Bie Jia (Turtle shell)
This promotes menstruation while reducing lumps and treating amennorhea. Bie Jia has also been used for treating night sweats.
