Medicinal Nature - Manda Spring

Coccinella septempunctata

February 20th 2012 20:50

They’re small and red and have poems written about them. Ladybugs. Ladybirds. With spring just around the corner, and flowers waiting to bloom, the ladybugs will soon be showing up. Roses flourish when ladybugs are around. Aphids are the enemy of the rose and the diet of the ladybug. It makes a good combination if you have a flower or rose garden.

I’ve written several articles about the uses of roses as a medicinal herb. Healthy roses, of course, are the best for both beauty, fragrance and medicinal value. Ladybugs can be a great help in producing a healthy and beautiful crop of roses.

Be aware, though, some ladybugs bite!
