Gardening: Planting those Herbs and Flowers
May 12th 2008 05:21
Well here we are facing another tip to spring time pleasure. During spring it is the only time we can plant most of the herbs and flowers that we will use to make home remedies, and beauty products. But as I wander through the isles of garden centers and nurseries, I hear so many people asking questions about annuals and perennials etc. so I got to thinking… this would be a great post for all of the new readers to Medicinal Nature. I will dedicate this post to every new reader that wishes to take up gardening in hopes of a better and healthier future.
Here are the explanations of each of the words you will encounter when planning your garden herbs and flowers:
Annuals: plants that live and die in one season
Perennials: plants that keep coming back each season
Biennials: plants that will die one year after they are sown
