Whether your goals are all natural remedies because you suffer from health issues or whether you just like beauty supplies that homemade; your garden can produce for you all that is required to enjoy a healthy living experience.
Not only do I use my herbs medicinally, but I also use them for facials, cleansers, toners, and dry or chapped skin. Of course there are several uses not mentioned here but I will go into them at a later time, I promise.

This year my shaded garden consists of around 20-25 plants. I have separated each appropriated section with wood pieces. I have included an image of a "pre-plant" stage section to give you an idea of proportion.
After you make a list, decide the 'look' of your garden with wither rock or wood and create borders allowing good sized planting sections.
Okay, I guess I rambled. This was the long answer.... sorry, I'm tired... no, actually exhausted is a much better adjective.
