Storing Your Aloe Vera
September 20th 2008 18:01
When your Aloe Vera gets big enough to store large amounts here are the steps to storing it right so it doesn’t dry out.
1. Get proper storage containers- air tight is the key. Then decide how many. Are you the only one benefiting from the aloe or are you giving some out to your friends and family?
2. Take off one leaf at a time. Slice with a sharp knife the flattest side of the leaf. Take a spoon and start scraping the gel out of the center. Decide after you have filled your containers if more is needed… but try not to waste it will be better for the plant.
3. Seal the containers up tight and keep in a cool, dry place.
** Now you are ready to heal and make wonderful lotions and creams that will help keep your skin and hair looking and feeling their best.
