Sugars Have Healing Properties – Part I
November 17th 2006 22:46
When we think of sugar we often think of calories and fat. But this couldn’t be further from the truth. Sugar contains saccharides and saccharides have been proven in clinical studies to allay chronic diseases such as kidney disease, lupus, arthritis and many others. So, how do we distinguish which elements of sugar are needed and which just taste really great?
There are eight essential saccharides:
1. mannose
2. glucose
3. galactose
4. xylose
5. fucose
6. N-acetylglucosamine
7. N-acetylgalactosamine
8. N-acetylneuraminic acid
Glyconutrients are foods and supplements that give us the saccharides that we need in our daily diets. Glyconutrients are so very important to our over all health. It activates and boosts our immune system to shrink tumors and other such cancers.

Tell us more!
re 5. did you mean fructose?
This post only gave me half of what I was expecting and I suppose more of what I wasn't.
Good to see you again.
What spices do you think are good for the brain and also which for the liver? some, of course, serve more than one purpose really.

Medicinal Nature
I have anticipated your questions and have written another installment that will be out shortly. Fucose is different than fructose... and you'll see why momentarily. I figured a deeper meaning was in order before showing more about the healing properties so it is in the works.
Thanks!
I'll see ya soon... ~Manda
