Herb Gardens All year ‘Round
September 22nd 2011 19:43
If you have an herb garden, as many of us do, remember to bring all or part of it indoors for the winter. Larger herb crops, such as mint, can stay outside in the cold with some form of cover or shelter (like a covering of straw). Smaller herb gardens are often portable and can enjoy the sunshine of the warmer months outdoors and continue to produce indoors when the weather chills. If you can’t have fresh herbs through the winter, I hope you have some dried and stored for use all year round.
