These are taken for iron deficiency anemia.
Lutein
This is taken for macular degeneration, and cataracts.
Lycopene
This is taken for asthma, preeclampsia, immune function, macular degeneration, prostate cancer, and atherosclerosis.
Lysine
This particular supplement is taken for cold sore, shingles, and genital herpes.
Magnesium
This specific supplement is taken for ADHD, heart attack, diabetes, dysmenorrhea, kidney stones, angina, anemia, asthma, PMS, high blood pressure, gestational hypertension, congestive heart failure, mitral valve prolapse, celiac disease, stroke, sickle cell anemia, retinopathy, multiple sclerosis, chronic fatigue syndrome, athletic performance, anxiety, glaucoma, insomnia, autism, fibromyalgia and intermittent claudication.
Malic Acid
This is mostly used for fibromyalgia.
Manganese
This is taken for tardive dyskinesia, sprains and strains, diabetes, Osgood-Schlatter disease, osteoporosis, and hypoglycemia.

I have a shonky liver at the best of times and wondered about the extracts that are good for a liver.... again what foods contain the ingredients I need if I don't want to ..or can't .. take pills...

For a healthy liver you should eat liver (like beef).
Onions and garlic are also extremely good for the liver.
