Manzanita
March 26th 2007 22:33
The manzanita plant is part of the Ericaceae family. The name manzanita actually means "little apple" in spanish; the small red berries are edible and are used widely in jellies and jams. The leaves of the manzanita plant are used in a tea helping with urinary tract infections, chronic kidney inflamations, and water retention. Pregnant women should not use the tea.

...any chance of featuring pictures of these herbs... fresh and/or dried? It makes them easier to absorb and remember when at the shop?
Thanks
