Health News: Pfizer

April 24th 2007 21:25

Of course we are all concerned about the medical industry because many of us do rely on prescription drugs to maintain or fix our illnesses and problems that we may have. The world’s leading Pharmaceutical Corporation, Pfizer, is fixed on increasing the medical industry.

So you are wondering, “What does that mean to me?”. Well, in simple terms, they are looking to improve the overall healthcare globally. That includes better medical establishments, occupational health management and more.

Because our lives are centered around our health and welfare this is definitely a newsworthy event.

I always wonder about the state of research, too many variables, too much information, not enough dedication, too much vested interest and self interest which is infiltrating everything and too much reliance on mice and men [both male and female]

Manda,

I have to say medical research is a necessary evil, but without it, I, personally would not be alive to post on this blog...

Take care,

Nick

I totally agree Nick. However, it is dangerous for those that flock to prescriptions for every ailment. It seems they have a prescription drug for every little problem and then they have an equal amount of drugs for the side effects that they cause etc. etc.

I am all for medicine when a body truly needs it- I feel bad for those who are ignorant as to the hazards they face.

PS
I am glad you are well Nick and have had good experiences with your medications, we need good people like you in the world-- some aren't so lucky . To see a little of what I mean stop by Jessicca's page "Health to Know" and check out Steven Johnson Syndrome. It is really scary.
