Medicinal Nature - Manda Spring

Planting a Medicinal Garden Part Five: Mint

May 31st 2008 17:23
This year Spearmint and Peppermint are the two I am planting. Beware when planting: one, plant in the shadiest area of your garden and two, prune often or it will take over your garden.

Mint can be used boiled and poured in a hot bath to relieve minor aches and pains, or drink as a tea for stomachaches. Besides I enjoy making astringents, lotions and facials with it to cool and refresh the skin.
