Medicinal Nature - Manda Spring

Planting a Medicinal Garden: Purple Cone Flower

July 4th 2008 16:16
The purple cone flower, also known as Echinacea, is a must have for my family. Countless clinical trials have confirmed that purple cone flower is effectively used to treat the common cold, coughs, bronchitis, fevers, urinary tract infections, pharynx inflammation, mouth and infection and is also widely used for wounds and burns.

Purple cone flower is great for boosting the immune system at the first sign of sickness or cough. So this addition to my medicinal garden is one that will be used often especially during the winter months.
