Medicinal Nature - Manda Spring

Sage

December 31st 2011 16:27

One of the most common of Christmas smells is sage. In stuffing for a turkey or goose, the scent is both enticing and unmistakable. Along with cloves, nutmeg and pine, it’s one of the most popular fragrances associated with the winter holidays, from Thanksgiving on.

Not only is sage important, scent-wise, it is also very good for the digestive system (a good thing for all of us who tend to eat a lot at a holiday table). Sage scented candles can add a lot to the atmosphere this time of year, too.
