Smoothies

Any time of year is a great time for smoothies. They are simple to make, affordable and are rather filling for complete meals. I love to drink one for breakfast or lunch and when I want to fit into something a lot smaller than I usually like, I will drink one for breakfast, one for lunch and a healthy high fiber dinner for about a week.
The yogurt base is where the weight loss secret is. The things you add are what fills you, gives nutrition, energy, etc. Try high antioxidant foods such as berries and always remember to stick at least one banana in for that high potassium level. This is also a great time to add those herbs. If you feel depressed a lot then put in St. John’s Wort. Thanks for the reminder! I have done a few recipes at my site about smoothies and I have stopped for a while due to day work... *fainting*
I am having smoothies every lunch and true enough it not only maintains your weight go you get yourself packed with nutrients and help to keep you on the go!
