Stinging Nettles

July 23rd 2010 23:20

Stinging Nettles can be a real nuisance. Especially if you have a large ranch like I do. It seems they sprout up everywhere! But they are not all bad. Let’s go through some of the widely used treatments using nettle.
• Internally the this weed can cleanse the body. It has long been used as a blood purifier. Stinging nettles can treat arthritis, issues with excessive bleeding such as anemia and hay fever.
• Externally this plant can be rubbed on the skin to relieve severe arthritis, gout, sciatica, etc.
• Homeopathic remedies have been used successfully to treat many of the above complaints as well as chicken pox and even bruising.
