March 20th 2008 04:12
Whenever I go out to eat tat is the first thing I look for on the menu to order. We just love shrimp in my family. But, did you know that shrimp are good for you? Oh yes, it is true!!! Let me explain some of the benefits to eating shrimp.
As with all fish it protects a body from heart disease, Alzheimer’s and cancer. But a few of the nutritional elements found in shrimp are:
•Protein
•Iron
•Phosphorus
•Selenium
•B12
So even when you have shrimp cocktail you can never really eat too much as the horseradish and tomatoes in the cocktail sauce actually provide added nutrients to your diet. Here’s to a healthy snack!!!
