Top Herbs for Respiratory Health

If you read my post entitled, ‘Respiratory Terms’, you are then familiar with the terminology that comes with herbs that promote a healthy respiratory system. So, now what you should know is the herbs that can help achieve what ever of these functions you’ll need to get over your respiratory sickness.

Demulcent- Slippery Elm, Flaxseed, and Marshmallow Leaf.

Stimulant or Expectorant- Hyssop, Elecampane, and Lobelia

Relaxant- Thyme, Wild Cherry Bark, and Aniseed.

Anti-Catarrhal- Coltsfoot and Elder flower are the best.

Pectorals- Goldenseal, Garlic, and Echinacea.
