Medicinal Nature - Manda Spring

Wild Plants with Medicinal Qualities: Part 6

December 18th 2007 05:43
The Sow Thistle, or Milkweed, is also from the sunflower family. The qualities of this tall dandelion type of plant aren’t as medicinal as they nutritional. They hold a lot of valuable vitamins within their leaves, stalks and roots. Many cultures enjoy this delicacy around the world. That should change the way that you look at this ugly weed.

How 'bout some pics to help us change the way we look at these ugly weeds? Very interesting reading, but I have a hard time placing the look described. Pics would help.
