Medicinal Nature - Manda Spring

Wild Plants with Medicinal Qualities: Part 8

December 20th 2007 05:57
White Sage has a potent aroma and leaves that are rather sticky and are attached to a distinct yellowish white stem. The plant itself can be anywhere for three to six feet tall and the leaves are a whitish-gray color. For external use sages can be made into a poultice for effectiveness in stopping bleeding from deep wounds and used in shampoos to stop issues with dandruff or used in a rinse to cleanse skin ulcers. For internal use, this sage can be used in a tea for headaches and digestion problems.
